Ningxia, an autonomous region located in the centre of Northern China, has seen huge investment from the Chinese government, which has elevated a previously poor, remote area into one of the world’s most dynamic regions for fine wine production. An egg shape complex called Xige in Chinese, and informally known as Pigeon Hill in English, has risen from the dusty fields of Ningxia. Residents of those windswept plains have witnessed inspiring blueprints transform into a sprawling winery nestled within a curved stone wall.

Mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with 5% Merlot. Fruity- driven, round and elegant on the palate with silky tannins and good structure. It offers intense ripe red fruits flavours and subtle oak characterderivedfrom 6 months’ ageing in 300L French oak barrels (20% new, 80% 1 year).
