Stakhovsky Ace Merlot

As an elite athlete and world-famous tennis player, Sergiy Stakhovsky didn’t think wine had a place in his life. That is until he was offered a spot to play in the French Team Championship for the Bordeaux team, Villa Primrose. His time spent in Bordeaux began a life-changing experience of not only learning about wine from the terroir and the producers themselves but also learning to love wine as a wine consumer, something he’d not been previously.

The grapes are grown in the Zakarpattya region of Ukraine. Strong diurnal variations in the temperature keep the grapes retain their freshness and ripen evenly. Complex flavors and aromas of blackberry, vanilla, and forest floor. They were aged for 16 months in French oak. 23,000 bottles produced.
