Juan Gil Dulce Monastrell Dessert Wine 37.5cl

Monastrell is more diverse than you may immediately think. Known for making deep, rich reds, it works equally as well as a sweet wine. This is from late harvest grapes that concentrate the sugar, acidity and flavours. The berries are very flavourful, with 4kg of grapes used to produce one litre of wine. Half of the wine ages for five years in barrel, with the other half aged in stainless steel before blending together. The result is something sweet and complex with rich texture and a fresh, silky finish.
