Artania Beykush White Blend

£17.50
Beykush winery is a craft family winery located on the spit between the Black Sea and the Berezansky estuary. The tasting area has a stunning view of the Bay of Beykush and the vineyards.
The vineyards grow in the unique place, on Cape Beykush, whose shores are washed by Berezansky Liman on one side, and on the other by Beykush Bay. 14 hectares of French, Italian and Georgian clones of white varieties – Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Rkatsiteli and reds – Pinot Noir, Merlot, Saperavi, Cabernet Sauvignon. There is an experimental vineyard with indigenous grape Telti-Kuruk, international Alvarigno, Timorasso, Tempranillo, Malbec, and Pinotage.
Dark chestnut loamy soils. The vineyards are located a few hundred meters from the sea and are surrounded from three sides by water, they are constantly touched by the breeze. Neighborhood with estuaries and the sea serves as a large natural air conditioner, softening the climate during dry years. Wind, blowing on the vineyard, significantly reduces the risk of developing fungal diseases on the vines.
